Greenwich Cove

At this Greenwich location, we met the challenge of this ambitious location by orchestrating an illusionary, nonconforming structure set unperturbed in its own cove.

The house is organized around a glazed octagonal court that serves as a library displaying collections from the owner’s extensive travels. The kitchen counters are Azul Macuba, appearing as though they are nautical maps.

The finishes of the home are the signature high-gloss paint that bounces the natural light throughout the home, the clear maple wide plank flooring that is reminiscent of beach sand, and a reclaimed limestone tile.

Stunning waterfront views greet you in every room. The office, located next to the rear entrance to the backyard, follows a curved wall that enriches the amount of space and light the room receives.

The dining room opens up into a great garden. Floor-to-ceiling windows welcome in the view of lush greenery.

No detail was missed in the conceptualization and design of this project. Every angle and element from the doors, to the railings, to the stairwells, was meticulously designed to tell a story throughout the home.

The floor plan was arranged to orientate the great spaces southwest, turning 45-degrees through ceiling design, furniture placement, and curved waterfront glass.

The master bathroom dons custom stone walls and a cement bathtub overlooking the water. This space was to be reminiscent of a spa oasis.

As this magnificent structure moves towards the water, it adds stories and grows in scale, transforming from classically sedate to explosively baroque. The exterior of the home nearly transforms from day to night.
