Round Hill Estate

Sitting on a 20-acre hill in North Greenwich, this site replaces a 20th-century stable and carriage house, offering unmatched sunlight, views, and privacy.

The client's primary wish was for the entire home to connect with the outdoors, and this location was the perfect canvas.

The kitchen, a focal point, seamlessly integrates with the warmth of wood and stone, achieving an elegant, unassuming result.

Though the design appears simple, it required intricate effort and craftsmanship to create a harmonious space.

The architect designed interiors reminiscent of the structure's industrial era, using steel elements to define the space with thin, exposed riveted steel columns.

This project blends natural beauty, outdoor living, and industrial-inspired elegance into a truly exceptional architectural masterpiece.

The industrial elements extend throughout the indoor living spaces, including a custom-built wine cellar featuring a spiral staircase entry. The design continues into an indoor gym with exposed inverted steel columns and plenty of glass to bring the outdoors in.
